CRM Billing - India Excise Duty Computation

We want to do billing in SAP CRM and have to compute India specific Excise duties.

Can we do this in TTE (Transaction Tax Engine) or do we need to leverage CIN from SAP ECC or is there any other mechanism ?

When we post the billing document from CRM to ECC, will we need the exact same Tax configurations in ECC as well ?
